Fourthchild Cafe and Restaurant
Fourthchild Cafe and Restaurant, Ipswich
Mr has finally completed his work in Ipswich! Prior to starting there, we made a day trip to Ipswich to check out his workplace and the town area. It is certainly pretty quiet on a Saturday and that means street parking is quite plentiful. Knowing that we will be exploring Ipswich, I have included Fourthchild Cafe as one of our destination to try.
Fourthchild is pretty spacious, nicely decorated with its darkly coloured painted interiors. Service is prompt and friendly. We had one of their beef sandwiches and we enjoyed it. The bread was toasted to perfection, with plentiful of beef slices.
Besides that, we tried one of their breakfast menu with scrambled eggs, hash, toasted bread and bacon. It was simple and nice. Fourthchild is quite a lovely place to visit and luckily we did. I was very tempted to try one of their cakes or desserts on offer, but the Mr said 'no' as I had to watch my diet/sugar intake... After brunch, we walked around the town area before heading back to Brisbane.
